David Cameron maintains Tory support for a high speed rail network

At the start of the new year the Conservative Party leader spoke of his support for a new high speed rail network in his ‘year of change’ speech. 

In setting out his arguments for a year of change ahead of a General Election later this year, David Cameron highlighted that the Tories were planning for a new high speed rail network.
