It was good to read that the Transport Select Committee reinstated its support for high speed rail and the ‘creation of a high-speed rail network for the UK’ in its recent report on the ‘Future of Aviation’.
As the report looked at the UK’s infrastructure needs it was positive to see that the Committee included high speed rail in its discussions.
